Framing
These three images represent the photography technique called framing. Each of these photos have a physical feature that serves as a frame for the photo, directing viewers attention to what they should be looking at, which is inside the frame. I used examples of doorways, gates and even the arch in Washington Square Park as frames for my photos. This technique creates unique perspective, as well as directing viewer's to the focal points of the photo.
